Storefront aluminum door smart lock, works great!

We have an aluminum door with a mortise hook bolt. We have searched for something compatible with our lock, much of the current smart locks do not support mortise locks. When we found this smart lock and saw that the installation was just like replacing a key cylinder in the mortise, there was no hesitation in purchasing this. The app TTLOCK does an excellent job of managing this smart lock. As a plus for us, we have a couple of other interior locks that also use the TTLOCK app, so it was a very nice addition to the smart lock family. All keys and keyfobs, some passcodes were copied over to the mortise smart lock from the other locks with the export function in the TTLOCK app. The passcode on the mortise smart lock can only include numbers from 1-7 and have 9 digits. The only problem we had in installing the lock was the aluminum trim on the door frame near the lock. Since the lock protrudes, it hits the frame trim, so we needed to cut away a small part of the exterior trim on the aluminum door frame so the lock could fit correctly. The only other comment that I can make is to remove the cover to replace the battery or access the key hole. You will need to use the suction attached to the keys for that.

This lock is really great! Only one that works well with a commercial space.

I do short-term rentals of a studio production space and this lock is perfect for me to be able to program in codes remotely so that people can let themselves in without me having to be there and they can lock up as well.

The lock is designed so you turn it to lock and unlock it so that it doesn't kill the battery having to turn the locking mechanism itself. This is a big deal as the other types of locks the batteries die very quickly having to turn the whole locking mechanism. This one doesn't so the battery lasts a long time!
