Micom SW-REV Encoder / Rev Counter
The Micom SW-REV Encoder (Rev Counter) is a critical motion feedback component used in the Micom SW800 automatic swing door operator system. It functions as the system’s rotation sensor, monitoring the movement of the motor and gearbox assembly to ensure accurate door positioning and controlled operation.
This encoder continuously sends pulse signals to the SW-CU-800 control unit, allowing the operator to track door speed, direction, travel limits, and cycle counts. By providing real-time feedback, it helps maintain smooth, safe, and precise door operation in both opening and closing cycles.
The SW-REV is installed inside the operator header housing and is directly connected to the motor/gearbox assembly. It plays a key role in safety functions such as obstruction detection, controlled stopping, and recalibration during the learning cycle.
Key Features:
- Compatible with Micom SW800 automatic swing door operators
- Functions as a rotational feedback encoder / rev counter
- Sends real-time motion signals to the control board (SW-CU-800)
- Ensures accurate door positioning and speed control
- Supports safety features such as obstruction response and learning cycle calibration
- Compact internal module labeled SW-REV / SW-REV6
Application:
Used in commercial automatic swing doors for hospitals, offices, retail stores, and institutional buildings requiring reliable low-energy door automation.
