The Surface Mount LCN 4216 Smoothee Series is a heavy duty, high security door closer with special components to minimize the tampering and vandalism of the device. It has forged steel parallel arms and heavy gauge metal security covers that are specifically designed for correctional, vandal prone, institutional and other high traffic applications. The door closer has passed 10 million cycles in independent testing. The choice of finishes and cylinder functions meet all the correctional and vandal resistant requirements.
Extra Duty Arm: non-handed parallel arm that features a solid forged steel main arm and forearm for potentially abusive installations. It has double slab arm/pinion attachment for the maximum strength.
