The Schlage LiNK Solution
The Schlage LiNK system is a Z-Wave enabled lock and wireless home security solution. Schlage LiNK devices communicate via a wireless bridge along with other Z-Wave devices in your home to a remote server over your broadband connection. The remote server allows you to monitor and configure your Schlage LiNK locks and other devices from a web browser or from your mobile smart phone. The Schlage LiNK system can be set up to text message you as to the time, date, device and user code entered each time access is attempted. And many other devices can be controlled with over 200 companies selling Z-Wave enabled products such as electrical outlets, appliance modules, lighting control and thermostat control. Built upon the successful FE and BE keypad lock platforms, the Schlage LiNK system is available as a keypad lock or keypad deadbolt. Currently, the deadbolt and keypad lock can be purchased a either the starter kit or as a single device. The starter kit comes with a Schlage LiNK lock, a wireless bridge and a lighting control module. One wireless bridge is required per location. A monthly subscription fee of $12.99 is charged to for access to the remote server, with no yearly commitment required.
