FingerTec® M2 and R2 also support Wiegand Input/Output communication for integration with third party card readers and door controllers.

In addition to standard communication protocols such as TCP/IP and RS232/RS485, these latest models have a USB flash disk port, vital for data transfer in case of connection breakdown. For total security, FingerTec® R2 readers are equipped with the standards for alarm systems, NO and NC. In event of break in, door ajar, or unauthorized dismantling of readers, FingerTec® R2 can signal alarm systems. 

FingerTec® M2 is built with a Zync Alloy-metal casing and FingerTec® R2 with an Acrylonitrile Butadiene Stylene-plastic casing. These sturdy constructions offer solid and robust systems which withstand prolonged weather effects.

FingerTec® R2 readers are bundied with powerful TCMS V2 Windows software for data management as well as easy and clear reporting. FingerTec® R2 readers also run on Linux platforms, providing flexibility in integrating firmware and performing customized functions. Complimentary BioBridge SDK is also available for integration with third party software.
